Although being alone is critical, being sociable also leads to
personal improvement.Close friendships bear three "fruits". First, we
enjoy doubled happiness and halved sorrow with true friends, fulfilling
our emotional needs. Second, via conversation with friends, we gain
better understanding and judgement, which enhance our intelligence.
Third, friends are willing to help us realize our goals which otherwise
we couldn’t. However, in order to better walk the "path of life", we
should carefully choose friends and develop friendships.
